WHEN IN ROME!

The morning started with a cold breeze flowing through my room I was startled awake and went up the few little stairs we have in our small boat house, looking for a good snack to eat, I said good morning to my family, and after I went straight to packing. We packed for several hours and prepared for the adventurer waiting for us. Sadly we left the cats at home.

We took a minivan into the central area of Rome and we got out of the minivan into a small path lined with shops and markets. We grabbed our bags and hauled ourselves up a massive flight of stairs. The moment we stepped into our hotel we could tell there was AC it was as cool as a winter day. We lounged around in our hotel for a couple of hours then went off to explore the city.

What to do first?

We all decided that we were going to go find pizza, gelato, and the shopping street. we went up and down the street for a couple of hours exploring the fancy stores. We even saw a Louis Vuitton. When we got home we instantly flopped into beds and Mum and Dad went out for a cocktail for their anniversary.

The Birthday

The next day was Ezra’s birthday. Mum, Dad, and I got up early to decorate the hotel apartment for Ezra’s birthday we decorated it with balloons banners, and presents. We filled the entire day with activities such as a birthday breakfast and acat sanctuary, an interactive museum a coliseum tour, and a delicious dinner. it was such a full day I fell asleep before my head hit the pillow. (ELIZA WHAT ABOUT AND THE RAIN STORM!!!)

Final Day

On our last day, we woke up at 7:00 in the morning and got ready we had to wear clothes that covered our shoulders and knees because we were going to the Vatican. We spent the morning walking through the Vatican Museums. These included the Pine courtyard, Raphael rooms, and the Sistine Chapel. We all were pretty tired at the end it was a lot of walking. We spent the rest of the afternoon doing a little more shopping, visited the Trevi Fountain, and then we drove home to the Blue Dolphin Marina and went to bed.
