Mediterranean Marine Life

We see the marine life all over when we’re anchored or even when we’re sailing! When we’re anchored we see octopi in the rocks and sea grass. Almost everyday we go swimming and a school of fish follow us for food. When we sail we usually see dolphins playing on our wake, it is so cool!

Posidonia is the see grass that grows in underwater meadows in the Mediterranean Sea. Posidonia is the home to many sea creatures and where we can see fish and sea animals when we snorkel underwater. It is illegal to anchor in the seagrass and if you do you will get a fine. We look for sandy spots to drop our anchor near the sea grass but not in it.
